Ferry lines
Regular car-carrying ferries run between Dubrovnik and Rijeka and between Dubrovnik
and Bari. Please visit the sites of Jadrolinija and of A.S.C. Ltd. for the ferry
schedule and booking information: www.jadrolinija.hr An alternative is to take a
ferry between Split and Ancona. From Split more than 15 intercity-bus connections
are provided by different companies per day.
Bus services
Dubrovnik is connected with all major Croatian cities (Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and
Osijek) by several daily intercity-bus lines. The services are provided by different
companies. International daily lines operate to Mostar, Sarajevo, Ljubljana and
Trieste.
To Dubrovnik by car
From Zagreb drive in direction of: Karlovac – Slunj - Plitvice Lakes - Gracac -
Knin - Sinj - Trilj - Cista Provo - Brela - Dubrovnik (distance: 577 km)
From Rijeka drive along the Adriatic Coast in direction of: Zadar - Split - Dubrovnik
(distance: 561 km) www.hak.hr In both cases it's about a 10 - 12 hours drive.
